Wierd clunk

I have a 2008 F250 KR and i have started noticing a wierd clunk from the passenger side floorboard area. It occurs about every 30 seconds when I am idling at a stop or at slow speeds. Otherwise, the truck runs strong.

Could this be the 'Blend door" problem?

Really frustrating.

Blend or door is more of a typewriter noise. If u could be more explicit with your "clunk" noise I might be able to help u out more.

Mine does the exact same thing. To me it sounds like some one kicking the bottom of the can with a shoe on. I thought it was the blend door also.

It has something to do with the A/C compressor. Turn your a/c off and it will stop. I have the same thing going on with mine. Has been doing it for a while so I wouldn't worry about it.

I noticed the same noise the past few days. It's been cooler out so I've been idling more in the morning, and also idling after I stop until around 300°F egt. I know the ac is off and defrost is definitely on. The sound is not a typewriter noise, it is a clunk that sounds sort of mechanical.... Kinda like train cars coupling together (obviously not that loud though). I can also feels the clunk in my feet, but it definitely is coming from the passenger side floor area.

I will idle without defrost and see what happens.

I concur, had the defrost and AC off for the past few days and no clunks were heard. It was dewy/foggy here this morning, so the defrost got turned one.....clunks returned.
