truck wreaks of burned oil

yep,after i run my truck semi hard or hard it smells like burned oil outside of the truck. if i drive it easy i don't notice it too bad. it seams like its coming from the left side of the engine but theres oil all over were the the engine and tranny meet and also the front drive shaft.. any ideas?

Get some purple cleaner from Home Depot, spray it on all the effected areas wash off. Then drive the truck and check daily. This is really the only way to find a leak. The smell is oil on the exhaust pipes.
