Small Coolant Loss

The truck goes through a gallon of antifreeze for 43,000 miles. He told me that the truck doesn't leak anywhere or smoke at all. Is this normal?
Mine doesn't seem to use any really...i dont know what to tell this guy.
Any suggestions?

When a 6.0 does this it could be from a small EGR cooler leak.

if it's not showing up outside anywhere you could try oil analysis to see if it's ending up in there. either that or look for the telltale dried white residue around different areas. have seen many small leaks that never hit the ground

once a cooler starts to go it that's it. i doubt its going to sustain a small leak for such a long time
