Radiator issues.

Hello everyone! My truck is a 08' f350 srw 4x4 with the 6.4 in it. i have just over 79k miles. have done services better then clock work. i have the spartan 210 une. tow everyday. just started having radiator leaking issues. on the fron driver side frame rail under the bottom corner of the radiator. like many others.. my question is do i put it back to stock with the dpf and cat back on, tune it back to stock and take it in.

Thanks!
Drew

My understanding is that only if the thermostats are hyperextended will the radiator be covered under the powertrain warranty. And you can bet money that the dealer wont cover anything if you keep the programmer and dpf delete. Good luck, I'll be having the dealer do it to mine as soon as they can get me in.

Currently the are no aftermarket radiators being produced. Both Performance rad. and Mishimoto have plans to build in the future. I am in the same boat as you and refuse to pay $650 for a new Ford leaker. Report your problem to NHSTA and maybe the will force a recall.

It's 650 with a 15% discount isn't it? Those rads are rediculously expensive.

Ford must be feeling bad about the radiators lately,Tasca Ford lists them for $432.19 + shipping. I still am trying to hold out for a aftermarket.

I have been adding this to all the radiator threads because it has helped a couple of guys. The radiator is covered under Ford's ESP, maybe you bought it and forgot.

wow, believe it or not i haven't priced out a rad lately. that is dirt cheap

usually(but not always!) when a price drops substantially that means a recall is in order
