does anyone have any good stories about their 6.4. Like how many trouble free miles or anything of that nature. i just bought one 4 months ago and like it but after reading some of these bad reviews im thinking of getting rid of it. Mine is an 08 f350 with 60,000 ive had one thing go wrong and ford fixed it right away.

Ive only got 32,000 miles on my '09 but I havent had any troubles. I wouldnt base any decision you make purely on bad stories from an internet forum. The trucks you read about on these forums represent probably 1% of what's on the road and most people dont get online to mention that their truck performed satisfactorily that day. If you arent having any problems just hold onto it. I think they're great trucks overall.

Wow what a great topic line, I was beginning to feel the same way. I have an '10 F350 and have enjoyed 3500 miles with no problems I work in Afghanistan so my truck mostly sits in storage. Last used it on vacation pulling a pickup camper and trailer with 4 wheelers from NH to middle Quebec Canada; it was a joy to drive and I never had a concern for reliability (apparently in ignorant bliss in light of this forum).

No major problems with my job 2 08' and it has 106,000 miles on it stock. The only issues it's had is the temp sensors on the DPF and excessive regening

I think the motor has proven itself. It's the smog stuff that lets people down. Take out the smog and radiator brake downs and there would not be much left.

10700 problem free miles on my 2010 F250. Spartan tuned since 3500 miles. Driven to Las Vegas, Salt lake City, and Yellowstone with zero issues. Averaged roughly 21MPG. Love my truck.

The 08 F250 4x4 XLT Supcab, was a good work truck....never left me on the side of the road. I took good care of it.....put 137K miles on it. I was able to trade it on for a 2011 4x4 XLT CC.......Yes, I had issues with the 08 6.4L ....but the truck helped me make Money.....I hope the 2011 6.7L .....does the same....so far ....it's a good truck.
