Getting my truck back from the stealership

i took my truck in with a sometimes minor....and sometimes major....coolant leak
they checked it out and turns out it is a hairline crack in the degas bottle (overflow tank) they want $505 to fix it so i think im gunna pick it up and try to get the bottle myself and replace it

anyone know what a new degas bottle runs?
where i can get one

i think i would try to fix it with some jb weld before i shell out 500 bucks on a stupid overflow tank

Just picked it up and he said he was thinking of the wrong truck the problem with my degas bottle is that large about 1" diameter nipple on the (if your looking straight at it) bottom left side is "scored" so they say i need to replace that hose and the bottle ?!?!? i think im going to take some high heat tape and wrap it and see if it still leaks...

Dealer replaced mine for $135.00 it's just a plastic,,,go to the parts department & buy it yourself and ask for a commerical discount I get 20% of all parts I buy just by asking when they ask for who I tell the 4wd Parts or Truck accesories they enter it as Commercial cash account,,If I don't want to do the labor I take it then over to the Quik lane and ask them to install it while doing my oilchange,,usually costs very little this way

For 135 they replaced the bottle and the hose?
or just one of them?

Maybe its cuz i got a 6.4 is why they want so much...idk...o well i am going to buy the part and install it myself

Do you happen to know the part number for the hose that comes out the lower front left side of the tank its probably 3/4 inch diameter and it has a 90 in it to run down ? I need to replace that as well
