Any ideas, suggestions,
New to the site, really need some ideas, Have an '08 F-450, 10,187 miles, used as a personnal pickup for towing a gooseneck car trailer.Truck is stock, no add ons. Lost power,took it to the dealer, no compression in #8, They tell me they need to pull the motor to have Ford look at it, (pulling the cab off etc),then they tell me the oil "looks dirty", I'm a diesel mechanic (big trucks) by trade so oil changes cost me only my labor,only run Rotella 15w 40, change it evey 3000 miles, can anyone shed some light on this,now I hear there is a national backorder on 6.4's, like over 5000 in the country that need replacing, any input or ideas and maybe I could get some sleep tonight.
