Hey guys, one of my customers has a 08 6.4 i installed a DPF delete with DPF-R+ module. It has been installed for approx 3 months, he has noticed intermittent low power and his engine surged on him twice just the other day and set a light. He came by and i scanned it, only code was a P0193 code. His truck was the first DPF-R+ software installation i had done, i've since heard these can give issues. I was wondering if the problem lies in the programming or if its a real problem. Before anyone asks why we went with this instead of spartan or similar, this guy is just after fuel economy (truck is a 550 tow truck)
On the bright side he has picked up 4.5 mpg
Just wanted to get some input before i potentially diagnose a problem that doesn't exist. He scheduled to be in here next week, i'm also gonna call my parts rep today and see what he has to say.
