No regen and high idle while in gear, need opinions

Hi all, first time posting on here. I have an issue with my DPF. It hasnt done a clean out in about 50,000 km. Ford dealer told me it does it but it wont tell me that its doing it unless i go into system check to find it?? Last 15,000 km it goes in to high idle in drive and reverse, kinda dangerous. Ford dealer told me nothing they can do just deal with it. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks in advance for replies
