Death Wobble - Daystar lift
Just purchased a new used 2010 350 with 23,000 on it. Previous owner installed, from what I can tell, Daystar spacers in front, blocks in back, rancho shock (maybe just stock), and an adj trac bar. Truck has stock tires
Has a terrible death wobble / shimmy whenever you hit a bump at about 40 -50. Dealer said it was the castor - two days and $400 to bring it barely into to ford spec - same problem only slightly improved. Tech says the only way to remove the wobble is bring the truck back to stock @ $850 in just parts. Could it just be bad bushings on the trac bar? Last thing i want is to take the lift off and still have the same problem. Dealer supposedly checked all joints for tightness, stabilizer, and did an alignment. Any help would be great. |

Add a dual steering stabilizer kit, they mount to the tie rod which is a much more effective setup.
I had terrible death wobble when I added my Procomp lift, I changed out the stock stabilizer with a Rancho and it was just a little bit better, then I removed the stabilizer from the stock position all-together and added a dual stabilizer kit which completely solved the death wobble issue! |

Get some caster cams from Icon they should get you back in specs that is your problem! I have 3.5" upfront icon bar no issues at all!
