Diesel Gauge Not Working

A few months ago my gauge quit working. Had diesel in it, couldnt find any bare/shorted wires. My dash says 0 miles to empty. And the needle on the gauge goes below E when the key gets turned on. Anybody have any idea?

Still drives like normal, I just fill up every 200 miles.

Try getting your sending unit checked out, I know sometimes diesel at the walmart pump where I live will make my gauge go crazy in my 7.3, it will either say I have none or way more than I actually do. A buddy of mine has a 6.0 and his completely went out.

Thanks, I have a chance to buy another one off a wrecked 2008 diesel for $100+shipping. Im trying to price out a new one also.
