6.4 Front main seal leaking YET AGIN!!!

HEY GUYS,
MY TRUCK HAS ONLY 25K MILES ON IT AND LAST NIGHT AGAIN I SAW A PUDDLE OF OIL IN FRONT OF MY SHOP WHERE I PARK THE TRUCK I LOOKED UNDERNEATH AND AGAIN THE FRONT IS ALL WET. I'LL BE TAKING IT IN AGAIN LATER TODAY, BUT SEEMS LIKE THESE FRONT MAIN SEALS ARE GOING BAD OR THE GUYS INSTALLING ARE JUST PLAIN RETARDED???? THIS WILL BE THE 3RD TIME THEY ARE REPLACING MY FRONT MAIN SEAL! ANYBODY ELSE HAVE THIS ISSUE?

Are they sure it was the front seal? My 08 leaked oil onto the front axle. It ended up being an oil pump seal. Maybe they should check that too.

the 1st time they changed the front main seal oil & oil pump seal, the 2nd time they changed the front main only. this time i took it in and the guy said he's more than sure its the front main again, by the time i got there it was dripping one drop every 5 seconds. They'll get back to me with an answer tomorrow

I would think if both seals have already been changed it has something to do with parts related to or housing those parts. I feel your pain and I'd be pissed. Good luck

I'm really starting to doubt the longevity of this truck... ... I have 25,052 miles on the truck and so far its been quite a journey; front main seal (x2) oil pump seal, oil pan seal, fuel cooler pump, fuel cooler reservoir, 2 driver window regulators, steering wheel (yes mine did fall apart LITERALLY! perhaps 1 in a million chance but mine did), fuel pump, front differential seal (x2).
Anybody else have a hellish experience with their 6.4's ????????

-Both rear calipers gone
-DPF replaced
-Radiator replaced
-Leak underneath repaired
-Driver side mirror replaced(wobbly)
-batteries replaced 3 times since I've had it
-Turbos replaced
-Belt squeal fixed, not fixed, fixed......

that really sucks!! I'm starting to feel like the truck isnt gonna reach 50k miles cus its such a problematic truck. I really love her and all but I think the 6.7 JOB II is starting to sound like a refreshment. I just wish these things were built better o_0

And whats pissing me off even more is the fact that I am pretty much BONE stock, no tuner, exhaust, or intake and I'm having so many issues.

Mine is used for a business and is stock also.

I would take a 7.3 with 250,000 miles on it over a brand new 6.4 any day of the week. Talk with any service guy out there for Ford, these come thru more than any other truck.

I'm just glad I don't have any BELLS and WHISTLES(power windows, seats, cruise, etc...) on it that I have to worry about. This truck costs too much to operate(fuel mileage and repairs). Not sure what you use a 450 these days for?
