vacume leak motor running constantly

Hi folks, my vacume pump is running full time again! can anyone suggest a way to find the leak? what would happen if I just unplugged the pump?
I have had the truck to ford for this problem before, I dont want another expensive bill so I would like to try and fix myself.

If you unplug the pump, you will have to lock the front hubs in manually to have 4X4. Check the t-fitting in front of the degas bottle and the fitting on the passenger side of the fan shroud, that is where the lines run. Also check the degas bottle, the bottom half of degas bottle and battery tray is the vacuum canister. I have seen people screw relays and such to the battery tray and puncture the vacuum canister.
