I am not 100% sure, but you may be able to buy the front plate where the valve is on the HFCM -- I know you can buy it for a 6.0L truck.
Worth a try. |

In case anyone else has this problem I was able to go to the dealer and buy just the plastic valve and the cover that holes it on. It comes with one of the three screws, I'm not sure why, but I was able to reuse the other three.
It was $48.00. I had to undo the front driveshaft from the front axle and move it out of the way to get to the torx head bolts. Once the driveshaft was out of my way I pulled the plate and the valve came off. So did a little water and lots of fuel. The fuel drained for about 30 seconds then stopped. I was able to replace the valve. Oh it also comes with two little o-rings that go in the holes that the valve is blocking. I replaced the o-rings then put the new valve and cover back on and reinstalled the bolts. It was a real easy process. Then I changed the fuel filter down there...that was not as much fun. mac 'now has a jacket that smells like diesel' gyvr |
