i put a afe stage II Pro-5R on my truck yesteday. After i put it on i drove it it ran great, was on the way to school this morning and the little engine light come on and i didnt even come 5 miles down the road. Does anybody know if this may have anything to do with the new intake on it ?

Yes, you should have got the S&B filter kit.... it has the least problems. The code you threw was probly a P2002 which means diesel particulate filter efficiency below threshold.

I get the same thing with my AFE. It is caused by more air than the engine thinks it needs due to the free flowing design over stock. Nothing major to worry about if you have a way to check and clear the codes. As a side note do you have the prefilter for it also? I found over time that very fine dust was inside the intake tube. The prefilter has eliminated this. They are cheap also, only around $10-$15 bucks
