dpf delete
hey guys I'm new to the scene so...Hello to my fellow strokers!!! I'm looking to eliminate the EPA's "great dildo to the *** of diesel owners" also known as the dpf. I'm wondering if anybody has had any problems their rigs after removing it, kind of mpg they are getting after delete and the equipment installed. Personally I am thinking of going with the SCT extreme and a 5" exhaust w/cat and dpf delete.

My truck has stock exhaust with dpf/doc delete and SCT set on lowest (45hp) setting. Took a trip last week, all highway, averaged 22.5 mpg, drove easy. This is a F350 crew 4x4 loaded, with 4.10 gears, weighing 9000 lbs.

My truck is currently stock. 3.73 F-350, 4x4 off road package, weighs 7920lbs without my *** in the driver's seat and 3 gallons of fuel in it.
I am currently averaging 15-18mpg with the cold weather. |

Thats not bad. I have heard so many folks say they get such horrible mileage in these when they are stock.

Agreed.
I have not really heard much in the way of good about it. Best I've heard is 19 on a 2wd 250 with 3.55 sprockets, hand calculated. I'm also hand-calculating. Lie-o-meter isn't too bad on my truck, actually. |
