NEED!!! HELP!!!

Well I purchased an 08 f250 yesterday with 17,000 miles on the way home I stopped at a store to fill up headed back to the highway from the off ramp then one of my turbos stuck I killed the truck ASAP but was too late the truck started smoking throwing sparks and then started putting out all kinds of oil. My only guess is that the turbo went out my question is which one of the 2 is usually the problem child because theres a $1000 difference in the 2. And if im going to have to replace one is elite diesels turbo a good upgrade. Oh and it doesnt have a warrenty

I have yet to see a turbo go out on the 6.4. But if that is your problem Elite makes a great upgrade. Also if your turbo gave out and threw sparks, you need to check for schrapnel in your intake system after the turbos. If the first turbo goes out, it could take out the second one fast. Where does it look like the oil is coming from? And why no warranty on a truck with 17K?

im not a 100% sure its a turbo I know it wont go over 50mph and there is hardly any boost and theres alot of clanking under the hood where the turbo is. The oil was shooting out of the tail pipe we stepped off 10ft that it shot out to. I bought the truck with a re assigned VIN is why theres no warrenty

08 with 17k, take it back to the dealer and get it fixed
