Not Sure
I've been hearing/seeing small things that I think may be leading to bigger problems down the road. Over the past couple of weeks my 10 F350 has been running differently than when I first got it. I haven't done any performance mods, but do run an additive. The truck seems to have decreased power like the DPF was severely clogged, and a couple of times she seemed to idle real rough. On Wednesday I drove about 200 miles and when I got to my destination, I put her in park and the truck just started to idle down to 400 then up to 700 and down and up until I shifted back into drive and it stopped. Didn't have any more problems like that. Then on Thursday night I was driving home and the truck went into Regen, (first I want to say that I hadn't noticed the truck going into Regen for at least 500-600 miles, and I know that sounds odd) the truck was in Regen for at least 10mins, or at least that's how long the truck says it was. So I at least know the truck hasn't been doing the Regen cycle properly.
I have also noticed my truck not shifting properly, seems to go real how on the rpm range like 3500 or so, not laying into the throttle real hard, shifting through most gears, I remember my 06 F250 did that while I had a hot tune on. I have noticed a little slippage, but not much, I do drive the truck hard, but no where near what others drive their trucks like.
I haven't scanned the truck for codes yet, and haven't seen any light come on, but the DPF thing is bothering me quite a bit, and the transmission I cant see being bad this early (only 9500miles). But after hearing all the horror stories with the 6.4, I'm beginning to wonder.
