Cruise control broke again?

i have a 2008 fx4 f-250 crew-cab with the 6.4. Im having problems again with my cruise not working. the dealer "fixed" it 500 miles ago by installing a new brake switch. Now they are saying its another brake switch gone bad, they told me there is more than one brake switch controlling the cruise control. Anyone else have this issue, its really frustrating taking to the dealer over and over........... thanks

I am experiencing the same issue, but it is intermittent. '08 F250 PSD, I have made two appointments and the damn thing starts working again before I get it there, dealer says they cannot find anything. Let me know how it turns out. If I finally get mine figured out I will let you know.

I haven't seen this problem before, but i can tell you that the dealer is right there are 2 different brake switches and if either one is bad your cruise control will not work

Now all of a sudden my CC is working again, and has worked for 2 weeks straight, WTF, is it still a brake switch?

From another forum....

The pressure switch circuit (when open) reports "pressure on", hence, the cruise control will not come on.

I fixed the harness and all's well since.

Doesnt one of the pressure transducers control the TBC, and one control the cruise? It's beer thirty over here and I don't feel like firing up the shop manual right now.
