Busted Intercooler

Well I have really done it now. Today I was on the way home from work and I stopped by my buddy's house and I heard a blowing noise coming from under my hood. The first thing I thought was I blew a boot. I started listening to see where it was coming from and I looked at the intercooler and at the bumper valance opening I seen where some paint was missing on the intercooler. I looked and something has hit it and put a hole in it just a little bigger than an ant. I guess the truck should stay parked to I get it fixed? Will my warranty cover a hole in the intercooler or am I going to have to buy a new one? and if so would I be better off to buy an aftermarket intercooler like Spearco? What would be the best thing to do? I have Spartan 275 and the dealers around here aren't mod friendly

Well I had a stock intercooler priced and it's 365. A Spearco intercooler is 1400. What is the benefit of the Spearco? I just trying to see if its worth an extra 1000

ME TOO!

The exact same thing just happened to me! There was actually a piece of bailing wire sticking out of the hole in mine. It's real thin aluminum, can it be welded?
