I took my 08 F250 in to my local ford dealer (where i bought it) and told them of the issue. Gave them a copy of the TSB as well.

Well, the next morning, stuttering and white smoke again. Looked at my paperwork and the tech put in a NEW DPF under warranty.

Starting to think these acronyms are confusing them.

Mine just got back the other week getting this replaced, happened twice, took it in and they hooked it up to the code machine, saw no codes but saw the TSB and went ahead and replaced it... Funny how all this happened after they replaced the Water in Fuel Seperator sensor just a week before, the day I got it back accelerated on interstate and shifted into 5th and dumped a big white plume on the car behind me, went on for about a mile then gone.. Then did it again on a damp day.. Oh well they fixed it so I'm happy, still under the 36000 here.. just barely though.
