Bullet Poof Diesel oil cooler

Anyone seen or put one of these on? Are they worth the time/money? I was just snooping around on their website yesterday and ran across the half kit. Kind of spendy at $1050, but seems like a solid kit and clean install.

It looks like a pretty nice addition. I'll put it on the "want list" and hope it doesn't need to be moved to the "need list"!

I put one on my 6.4. I love it!!! Oil temps stay so low that I have to do the old cardboard in the grill trick in the winter!

I have yet to waste money or time with bpd's stuff. So far their stuff is beyond top shelf.

This times a million... if you heavy tow the oil cooler is a must.

Well, sounds like I may have to move this to the top of my want list. Just got my AirDog 2 yesterday and a tank sump, so hopefully I'll be putting those on this weekend.

I wish they would come out with a system like they have for the 6.0 that has a thermostat and only opens when the oil needs to be cooled.

My deltas are still good and stay within 4-5 degrees when I'm empty. I'm just wondering if I should just go ahead and put one of these on now instead of later.

Since your deltas are still ok I would personally wait to see if they come out with a kit that gets rid of the OEM oil cooler. I think you will have problems with the oil temp being too low in the winter as stated above. I think the half kit is more for people that have an oil cooler that's plugging up.
