What kind of intercooler to choose?

Has anyone done an intercooler upgrade?

How necessary is upgrading from stock intercooler?

How do you guys feel about using Cxracing intercooler?

I have an AFE intercooler on mine. It works great. There are others out there. Banks, No Limit Fab, Spearco, Mishimoto.

As far as do you need it? Probably not. What do you use your truck for?do you race a lot or tow heavy a lot? Then you will probably notice a difference. If it doesn't pull heavy or you don't push it a lot, you probably won't notice a hug difference.

I haven't heard of CXRacing intercoolers for 6.4s

Well guys my truck is in the shop right now getting some body work done to it and I'm actually running a super chip 1805 right now but I'll be getting a mini maxx pretty soon and I'm going with a 5" exhaust to delete DPF and egr valve

I don't haul anything and I don't drag race it only when there's a blue moon

I do have power banks intake already

I guess my question is "will there be a big difference if I upgrade the intercooler?"

How much can the original intercooler hold before upgrading?

Will the original intercooler hold the power of the "KEM TUNES"

I'm using a Banks on mine. Not sure what everyone elses opinion is on this but mine is if your not making big HP numbers the stock intercooler is probably just fine. It's not going to be cost effective to upgrade when it comes to the gains if any you will make..

I have a Mishimoto on my 6.4 and the CXRacing kit on my OBS 7.3. CX is not bad at all and the Mishimoto is awesome in all around quality. I noticed a difference in response and low end after adding the Mishimoto to my 6.4.
