Advice on adding performance upgrades...thanks

I'm currently running a cold air intake and exhaust system on my 6.4, with the DPF and Cat still on the truck. I want to add a delete pipe and I'm looking into adding an H&S or Spartan tuner to help with power gains and better fuel mileage. Any suggestions or advice?? Thanks.

Sounds like your on the right track. It's hard to give you advise without knowing your goals for the truck. If you ever think you might go big with the truck I'd recommend H&S just for the ability to run the custom tunes from others. If not save yourself $500 and go with the spartan. I love mine and you have plenty of room to grow with it mod wise.

^^^^That pretty much sums it up....and remember that you will have to find an old version of the H&S to run deleted tunes.

H&S just due to mcc if you want the most options in tuning. the spartan is very reliable in power and doesnt seem to give transmissions a hard time either. you are just limited to that tuning only.

Thanks for the advice. I did find the H&S XRT Pro Race Tuner that has DPF and EGR delete tunes. I plan on keeping the truck for a while as a secondary/recreational vehicle and changing out other components in the future.
