What am I missing by taking the budget route with this Ebay package?

Hello and thanks in advance for any feedback.

I am looking to do a dpf delete on my 2008 F250, not looking to make crazy power but will certainly take all of the low hanging fruit that is safe. If my main goal is eliminating the idiotic dpf device and would be content picking up 75-150 HP without sacrificing reliability am I really leaving anything on the table by using one of the budget minded packages like this Rudy SCT 5015 package on Ebay?

If I am not looking to run HD or other super hot tunes what am I losing with a 3015, 5015 or something similar.

Can I pickup a trued 150-200 hp using a basic tuner, dpf removed, and cai?

Rudy's is great to deal with. There is nothing wrong with buying a package from them. Just call them up.

I did the budget route also with a DPF R 4.0+ and a CAT/DPF delete pipe. Total cost was about $700.00. Well worth it in my opinion. However... I told myself over and over again that I just wanted to get rid of the DPF and wasn't interested in doing anything else. I even ran the DPF off stock HP tune for a while. Well, I went ahead and put in the economy tune and added just 70 HP. That was it!! Now Im looking at doing the full exhaust, CAI, EGR delete, etc. Modding can get addictive!!

Welcome to the M.A.D. (Modification Addiction Disorder) club!

I also heard another one the other day that made me laugh: P.M.S. (Powerstroke Modification Syndrome)...
