Built Tranny Decision

Well it's about that time, need a new transmission, going to get a built tranny. Know the obvious Suncoast choice, wanted to get some other opinions or good/bad Suncoast reviews, etc.

I recommend going with Elite Diesel internals and either a River City Diesel or Diesel Performance Converters torque converter.

SunCoast is okay for mildly built trucks. I had issues with their torque converter and went with River City Diesel's Ultimate converter.

I don't know of many 6.4L guys running BTS or Warren 5R's.

Like Jeff said, I haven't seen many 6.4s with a BTS (except for people who converted to a 4r) or Warren. What clutches does Warren use?

Andy uses Raybestos. I will most likely be going with a Warren. Warren, Twisted, Midwest and Holder's would all be good options.
