Torque android app

I bought an obd bluetooth scanner and thought these trucks had a egt probe already but I can't seem to get torque app to read egts. It found coolant temp, trans temp, boost, and RP. Any ideas?

Torquey is a good ap... But its primarily for gassers ... Gassers don't care about egts... Your truck hasten, though..

They do, on my spartan it's listed as EGRTA. It's basically pre turbo EGT. Where that probe is located exactly I'm not sure. But if I had to guess I'd say it's near the back by the horizontal EGR cooler.

Yeah but you need to find the correct PID for it and input it into the advanced settings. I don't haul much so I haven't been overly worried about it.

The pre-turbo EGT sensor is the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temp Sensor A (EGRTA).

Can you elaborate on this^^^

I cant get the EGT sensor to work at all with the torque app. What did you set the equation up at. Actually if you could post what the entire pid is set at that would be great.
