Best DPF delete kit?

I'm trying to figure out the best DPF delete kit for my truck. I know I want 5' back. But I was searching and couldn't find any that are reasonable price that are good.

This speed shop in my city quoted me $915 for the total DPF delete kit with the 5' exhaust. I think thats too pricey.

Let me know.

Full 5" down pipe back exhaust no muffler by flo pro, off eBay is only $310 shipped. Yes it completely deletes the dpf. That shop is ripping you off big time possibly depending on the brand.

Thanks for the reply. I figured so too. They did my EGR delete for $450 total with labor and taxes, I thought that was a good deal. But it seems like now they think they can rip me off on the DPF delete. So I was gonna just see if I could order it, then they install it.

I wish I had a somewhat of understanding of what to do, and i'd do it myself. But i'm 18, and this is my first diesel so i'm pretty much out of luck lol

Is this just for the exhaust and install or does that include some sort of device to shut the DPF off as well?

Oh okay. Yeah, definitely way over priced. I would just get a couple of your buddies together and tackle the exhaust swap in the driveway. It's not bad. The hardest part is handling the weight of the stock exhaust.
