Passing emmissions in Mass

Just wondering if anyone has an answer to pass with a deleted truck in MA? I have a friend who can pass with his spartan but my H&S wont pass, Both of us have egr deletes and the Straight pipe exhaust. Im looking to get another 6.4 and would like to stick H&S due to transmission tuning but may jump to spartan if its impossible to pass without returning to stock every year. Any input or ideas are appricated.

IIRC MA does a readyness check. Is that what you are failing?

I couldnt tell you it must be my friend does inspections and when you have to plug into obd2 it just automaticly prints out a fail. So id assume it is the readyness check and pulls up the missing sensors?

I couldn't pass in WI with my H&S MM - EGR valve would not "Ready" itself for ODII test - Failed the first time. I loaded the lowest power level and drove around for a couple days. I borrowed a friends ODII scanner and the EGR valve would't change it's state - despite it cycling on low power. H&S must do something that blocks it's ability to change state, unfortunately.

I had to revert back to stock and re-install emissions to pass.

OP,

I would contact GH and see if they can make a tune that would "ready" the EGR before I gave up on H&S.

Did you try the "Easy" tunes?

Unfortunately, since that was on the "Easy" tunes and those tunes do use the EGR, I doubt Matt could do anything....it's worth a try but my guess is it something within the programmer that can't be changed...like you said.
