DETROIT NO SPIN GOES IN WEDNESDAY!

My baby is getting a Detroit Locker installed on Wednesday! No more one-legged-one-wheeled wonder anymore! Now I just hope it isn't too much! Anyone else running a true No-Spin in their trucks? I know it takes some getting used to but it can't be too wild can it?

I am very interested in this thread. I am going to buy one soon also. JetJock has only good things to say about them. I was looking at a true trac and decided on a locker instead. Please post up a review once you get it installed.

I'll let everyone know in a couple weeks. It's getting installed on Wednesday and then I'll do some "testing" over the weekend.

It's a locker. Detroit calls there TRUE LOCKER a 'no spin' and there Limited Slip the TrueTrac. Guess it's just semantics.

i just was looking at these
Eaton/Detroit needed to do a better job with their names IMHO

calling one locker a "Detroit" and then having the LS called a Detroit truetrac
is confusing at best

keep us posted

Got the rear end tore apart and the pinion bearing is shot and the ring gear is chewed on pretty good. Sooooooo, I overnighted a new ring and pinion and installation kit. Might have it back tomorrow, might be Friday. Either way, this truck has been a money pit. I bought it on ebay. Buyer beware. Everything looked in such great shape...motor...boom....injectors...junk... now the rear end. I'm just counting the days until I get to upgrade my transmission. I seriously now have just about my purchase price of $25,000 into this truck...fixing and upgrading it. When I'm done it better last 5,000,000 miles.
