Opinion

I have read through most of the previous threads with respect to tuners etc. My requirements are : 1 get rid of the dpf 2 gauge monitoring 3 keep cost as low as possible. Based on this I have narrowed the selection to :

A - DPF-R + with cat / dpf delete pipe, Edge CTS Insight from Performance Truck Products

B - SCT Livewire , cat / dpf delete pipe (livewire has gauges built in) from Rudy's

Let's hear it thoughts ???

The edge cts insight is not a tuner so that will not get you anywhere. Also edge doesn't do emissions deleting.

Correct that is why in "A" I was using the DPF-R + to delete the dpf and tune the truck. It does not have any gauge functions that is why I was thinking of using the Edge CTS.

The DPF-R + shuts it off , plan on doing the complete delete later. Just looking to stop the regen at this point.

The DPF-r won't do custom tuning if that means anything to you.
