DPF-R 4.0 OR????????

First please tell me I did alright to buy a 08 decked out stock 6.4 Super Duty Long Bed SRW with 110K on it. It seems everyone I have told so far has said good luck have fun removing the cab, but I couldn't see me in an Obama Motors truck.
Here is my question, I want to do what I can not to remove the cab ever and can not see how putting fuel into my oil can be a good thing. I want to get rid of the DPF and CAT, I'm not looking to race a Lamborghini, I will be putting in a lighter weight camper while towing a small cargo trailer to go out west. From what I have been reading the last few nights the DPF-R 4.0 seems like the way to go. I'm also like the sound of the Diablo Tuner because of what I understand it works as a scanner too. Please, any comments to help a brother out.

Without knowing how much you paid for the truck I don't think you can go wrong with a loaded 2008. If all you want to do is delete the DPF and turn off the EGR you'll be happy with the DPF-R+. You can get one with the delete pipe from Performance Truck Products for less than $800. If you also want to monitor engine parameters I'd recommend the Edge Insight CTS. You can get that for around $350. You'll still have less invested than what a used Mini Maxx will cost you.
