Gearbox Z DPF-R 4.0 Plus VS SCT3015R

As you can see I'm like many trying to figure out which direction to go as far as a new tuner. I'm on the fence and need a little push as to which to purchase. Here is what I've got os far:

Both:
DPF delete.
EGR disable.

DPF-R 4.0 Plus:
$700.00 w/pipe
Simple installation. Voice commands
Not upgradeable. No USB interface.
No additional tunes except the 70 HP increase.
Can block the EGR but can't remove it.
No transmission changes.

SCT 3015R:
$800.00 w/pipe
Simple installation. Digital display.
Can be upgraded. Has USB interface.
Comes stock with 4 tunes. Can aquire additional tunes $$
EGR can be removed with this tuner (so I'm to understand)
Both Engine & Transmission Tuning!
High Speed Datalogging and Instrumentation via a large backlit display
Built-In Programmable Shift & Alert Light
Pre-Loaded Performance Tune, Towing Tune & Transmission Only Tune
Read & Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes
Adjustable Shift Points
Displays estimated HP, TQ, 1/4 Mile ET’s & 0-60MPH
Speed Limter Removed / Rev Limiter raised to 4300RPM

I see all the pro's but I need to see some con's as well. Let me hear the reason I should buy one over the other. Please don't try to include the H&S or Spartan, I know they are great for what they do but I'm also trying not to break the bank, I'm just trying to stick to one of these two.

Thanks

Where do you see a 3015 R with pipe for $800? That's a deal if it's an actual legit 3015 R

Just curious.

I'd go sct obviously I don't actually know you... But, from the way it sounds you're gonna want to upgrade later down the road. As the rest of us on a budget new turbo here, fuel there, this an that... Lol. With the sct you'll be able to accommodate those parts later. The dpf-r will not

If you can get them for practically the same price then why wouldn't you go with the tuner that can do more? Seems like common sense to me

Where are you finding the SCT with pipe for $800? I went with the dpf-r plus and love it but if I could have found the SCT for the same price I would have went with that

Just make sure that whatever you bought is a 3015 R model which is the one needed for DPF delete tuning for the 6.4.

A regular 3015 SF3 or X3 3000 model wont do dpf delete tuning.... Gets confusing I know...
