SCT 3015R

Hi. Ive got a question I'm sure has been answered a million times but here I go...If I purchase a 3015R, do I have to manually delete my DPF or can you just do it through the tuner? Also, if you Manually delete it, will it still pass emission tests after that point? I want it gone but just would like to know if that option is there (manually or thru tuner). Thanks!!

Tuner will turn off regen and you can remove dpf. I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but I wouldn't run non/DPF tunes with the dpf still on the truck. Heck, I wouldn't tune the truck with dpf still on it.

If you don't remove the DPF it will just clog up because you will have turned off the regen which is what cleans the filter.

Thanks

Cool thanks. So does anyone have a truck with an SCT, or similar, with the DPF/CAT delete, and pass emissions? Or will I need to reinstall the DPF and CAT and unload the tune to pass? I live in WA so its note quite as bad as Cali.

Depends on how the inspection is done.
