sct livewire??

Hey guys i just picked up my first 6.4 powerstroke a few days ago and ordered a exhaust and intake thinking i could be patient enough to order my programmer so it will be waiting for me once i get home again in 3 weeks.....wellll thats not the case the exhaust and intake showed up yesterday so now for some reason i feel like i have to install it ha. I found a tuner for sell here in my hometown and from what i understand there is 2 different kinds of sct tuners as far as one having dpf/egr delete and the other to be ran with dpf/egr. How do i figure out if its the one that can delete the dpf/egr. The help would be greatly appreciated thanks guys!

For SCT, it has to be either a 3015 R or Livewire 9625 OR model to work for a dpf deleted 6.4 specifically.

Obviously unlocked as well otherwise it's $150 unlock fee by SCT.

How much is the one you found local? Just curious.

he wants 500 for the livewire im just not sure what version it is. is there somewhere specifically where it will say?

Under device info screen, it should say.

Although it specifically needs to be an OR version to work for dpf deleted 6.4 as they do make non OR versions. Your best bet would be get pic of that device info screen and call SCT to verify it's an actual OR tuner. Also make sure it say Device Unmarried as well on bottom of that screen. If it doesn't, then it's gonna be $150 to get SCT to unmarry it.

If it is an actual OR tuner and unmarried though, that's one helluve deal!

I paid 720 for my 3015R so 500 is cheap IF its the offroad model. The 3015r and 9625or go from 700-1000 on ebay.

He said he knows for sure it does the egr delete I don't know if that helps any. I'm gonna go check it out after work.

If I were you I'd write down the s/n and call sct, if you don't know this guy no way I'd take his word for it.
