Help!!!!!!

Just plugged in my spartan and loaded the 210 tune. Now the tuner is saying to start the truck but I haven't deleted the dpfor egr yet. Guy from Spartan said I couldn't touch any exhaust components until I loaded the tune. Do I just shut the truck off and get to work ???? Or do I follow the instructions, I know I can't start the truck with a dpf off tune loaded and the dpf still on the truck.

It wont run long enough to hurt it. Also you could of done exhaust first then loaded the tuner on it and that would of been just fine

Just safer to make sure the tune loads up first before you pull the exhaust. That way you'll still have a drive able truck if the program doesnt load properly. Just start make sure its running. Then shut her down and pull the exhaust.

We'll I wasn't sure so I erred on the side of caution and just shut the key off and went to work. We've been working on the egr delete though and haven't touched the exhaust yet. What do u guys think about me firing up the tuner and truck after finishing the egr setup to make sure my tune loaded before busting into the exhaust?

If you've already got the egr done then it doesn't matter. Do the exhaust then worry about it. With the egr gone the truck won't run right on stock tune anyway

If you loaded the tune first and it installed successfully then you can delete the egr and the dpf then start it. Thats what I did.
