Installing Mini Maxx - right now - things have gone FUBAR

Help!! I'm installing a Mini Maxx on a 2008 6.4L and nothing seems to be going right. I got this from an inmate here and it's unlocked/unmarried. Went to update the firmware and got most of the way thru then got an error message that said the volume was full. WTF?

Anyways, went ahead and tried to install got it all hooked up and it gets to the screen that says "TURN KEY TO THE RUN POSITION (DO NOT START ENGINE)" then it stays there. I've been sitting in my truck with the key turned to RUN for 40 minutes and no change. Also, the dash screen is cycling thru all the symbols - temp, low fuel, traction control. Nothing seems to be happening. Also, I'm getting a high pitch whine from my EGR valve area.

Help!!!!

Not sure I am much help but that cycling through the symbols is what it is supposed to do. You might want to cal h&s. They are the best customer service wise

more than likely it's a bad SD card, a bad HDMI cable, or a bad OBD2 block

Try it again until it takes. I had the same issue, ran out and bought another micro SD card, went back to retry the one from H&S and it worked. You'll see similar guidance in their FAQ FORUM.

Thanks, everyone for the tips and advice. Here's an update on my situation.

The good news is I'm up and running with the H&S Mini Maxx. What had happened was that I was tuned with a DPF-R+ and was switching to the H&S. When I returned to truck to stock with the DPF-R+ module, something got corrupted and basically bricked the truck. It would do nothing! Wouldn't even recognize my keys.

I contacted GearheadZ and they were great trying to help me resolve the issue. After many diagnostic steps Sam (the Tech from GearheadZ) determined my original module must have gotten corrupted before it loaded the stock file onto the truck. He overnighted me a brand new module and after many more diagnostic steps got the truck to accept the stock file from the replacement module. Whew!! He was great to work with and even stayed late at the office with me on the phone to finish up. I can't say enough good things about their customer service.

Anyway to make a long story short, everything is all good and I love the Mini Maxx. Now if I could figure out which tune will give me the best MPG I'll be all set. If you have any tips on the Mini Maxx and which tune is the best for daily driving and MPG, let me know.
