Tuner / DPF Delete - From Dealer

Is there anyone out there that the dealer has installing a tuner and delete pipe and still is keeping the warranty? I heard that dodge is doing this because a tuner and delete is cheaper for Chrysler to buy than to keep replacing turbos.
I will be buying a 08 F350 King Ranch LWB within a month and was wondering if anyone has had this done yet.

Thanks for input in advance.

I know my dealer in edmonton,ab does it. The kit is a DPF delete kit and only eliminates the regen (no power gains). They only do it if the truck is used in the forestry industry as far as i know.

Does this delete your dealer provides greatly increase MPG? And how are they when it comes to warranty work?

i'm honestly not sure. They said they install it for forestry applications due to the high risk of fire from the excessive heat generated by the regen on the 08+ 6.4L. Either way, I'm not in forestry so they wouldn't do it. I bought a delete kit from BADP. I have their tune and a SCT livewire. Either tune gains me approx 45-55 miles more per tank. (Job 1 truck). As for warranty work, I put the DPF back on and flash it back to stock. No questions asked thus far.

So, there is a way to just put the delete pipe on and reprogram the computer to stop regen without having to put in a fully functional tuner? I read the 50 page thread about just taking the dpf and cat off and obviously that doesn't work. I'm not wanting to upgrade the power and mess with all that stuff because I'm going to be using it for towing quite a bit and I want the engine to last for a long time, well...for atleast as long as I can afford fuel. Does anyone know how to reprogram the computer to just stop the Regen?

even tho some tuners are expensive, companies like sct have stock tunes on there modules with the dpf delete option, then u also have the ability to get the H @ S delete module that plugs into your obd 2 port or the hard wire version. im not sure how good the H@S system is but i have seen there 08 in person with there delete pipeing a module and it looked like it ran mighty fine to me. www.dieseltruckchips.com
