Other mods for my truck
Hello to all, My father in law has a 2008 mustang GT that he put a Rouch supercharger in. Now he is claiming that his car will run mid 11's with his setup. I am a car guy and I know that car will not run that fast, maybe mid to high 12's, but I dont say anything, I just say thats cool. I am still learning about diesels. My goal is to have my truck beat his mustang. Right now I have the spartan tuner with the 275 tune, Banks Monster exhaust, and AFE CAI. What else can I do besides nos, water/meth injection, to make my truck faster then his mustang. By the way I have a F250 SC/SB FX4. Thanks to all.....

Maybe a turbo upgrade?
 This is off topic but do you have any pics of the Banks exhaust?

hm... i did hear someone put a Spearco IC into their 6.4L.... but other than that their is not a whole lot more you can do... im not aware of anyone that makes turbo kits for them or injectors....

Elite Diesel has turbo and injector upgrades already.

How much would it cost you think to upgrade both injectors and turbo? I'm also thinking if you upgrade the injectors you need to upgrade the fuel system. It just keeps adding up haha.

I am also going to call Matt from Spartan to see what they have. Maybe with the 275 tune I will be able to take the mustang, it is a stick and he is not very good at driving it so maybe I can take him.

Yea i got a spearco IC, not a big help but oh well.
Yes Elite does have injectors better "stock" ones that atomize the fuel better (new tips), and 110HP injectors however these injectors push out a lot already and no real point in upgrading it until someone makes an aftermarket fuel pump for these trucks, which no one does atm. Sure can do turbos but hope your ready to get in on some custom tuning and you won't really feel like the turbo upgrade will be worth it imo.
