6.0 manifolds

truck is going in for studs and I plan to change the manifolds to the 6.0 and modified up pipes while the cab is off. I was looking at an elite setup but also considering getting used 6.0 manifolds from the shop where i'm taking it.

is it worth the extra money to get the coated ones from elite over used ones?

what else is needed besides up pipes if I go with used manifolds?

is it worth the $225 to have the up pipes coated also?

trying to get all my ducks in a row before I take it in, trying to take care of some of the more common problems while the cab is off. truck is at 120k mi, h&s tuned with 5" flo pro down pipe back, and s&b intake. I'm one of those lucky ones that run low power tunes and didn't hot rod it and still had the head gaskets go.

I got a used set of Rudy's up pipes from a member on here. I also got the 6.0 manifolds from the same member. My manifolds are not coated. If you have the time and the money it is probably worth it. All you need is the up pipes and the manifolds. They bolt right up.

08 F350 cc/sb 4X4
h&s minimaxx, 5" flo pro, 4" down pipe, no limit cold air intake, dirty diesel EGR delete with intake elbow, 6.0 exhaust manifolds, custom up pipes, ported intake manifold, Apex 71mm LP turbo, Rudy's cold side pipe, diesel site coolant and transmission filter, diesel site intercooler boots, ccv mod, bilstein shocks, gogo dd solenoid, HID lights, Airdog II 165, PMF traction bars, PMF drag link, moshimoto aluminum radiator

By the way the 6.0 manifolds make the 6.4 sound bad a$$!

Aren't there spacers and/or different bolts, shorter or longer needed also?

Yes you need the 6.0 bolts and spacers. You can get them from ford.
