Stacking tuners

Here's a question I can't seem to get a straight answer for. I'm CAT/DPF deleted and tuned with a DPF-R 4.0 plus. Also the EGR is turned off. I'm monitoring parameters with an Edge Insight CTS. Here's my question:

Since I'm deleted via the DPF-R tuner, would it be possible to use custom tunes via a hand held tuner like the SCT 3015 (even tho the non-race version tuner doesn't turn off DPF or EGR)? I'm talking about stacking both tuners.

I've emailed GearheadZ and also called them but the haven't gotten a definitive answer (They haven't responded to my email, and when I called the head tech was off).

Any experts out there with answers?

I'm pretty sure you can. Call innovative and ask them.

I have seen one guy say that he ran the 3015R with the dpf-r 4.0 no problems

I called SCT this morning and they said that none of their tuners could be stacked. He even said the X3 which uses only custom tunes couldn't be used.

I'm so confused!!

I guess I'll just stick with what I have.
