Exclamation sct tuner question

I just replaced my turbo with a turbomax and the dealer suggested getting a sct sf3 to "enhance" the new turbo. My truck, 2004 6.0, is basically stock except for a 4'mbrp exhaust still with cat converter. Is the "performance" tune to radical for my basically stock truck? I don't need head gasket problems. SCT website wants me to get a "custom tune" but not sure that is necessary with this truck.

Call QuickTricks and ask for Vivian, she will work with you and what needs to be done.

She designs custom tunes and she will be straight with you if you need one or not.

She wants returns customers not a quick buck like 99% of custom tuners business.

Wrong section. BUT just simply changing out your turbo to a powermax you shouldn't really even need a tuner. Although if you are gettin one I would definitely suggest custom tunes. There are several out there. I ran innovative tunes on my 6.0. The custom tunes r night and day compared to the canned tunes and they can also take full advantage of the powermax while still being safe on stock head bolts
