Issues with SCT 3015R

Tried deleting this weekend and wasn't able to because my tuner wouldn't load the custom file. My tuner is up to date with the latest firmware version and is unmarried with 4 unlocks left. For some reason I kept getting 1017 error Upload stock failed, then 1009 No tune changes. Tried 3 times same result. I spoke with the guy I bought the tuner from and he said he had the same issue and talked to Matt at gearhead and he thought he sent him an updated stock file to load first then reload the custom tune. I also called SCT this morning and they pretty much wasn't any help w/o having the tuner hooked to a laptop, hooked to my truck. I don't have internet at home so if that is the only fixed I'm screwed. Anyone else seen this?

It doesn't have to be hooked to a laptop while connected to your truck...

It just has to be hooked to a computer with internet so SCT can access it remotely.

They can fix just about anything remotely...

Otherwise, it will have to be sent to SCT if you have no other options.

Try going to a library if you don't know anybody that has a computer with internet access. SCT will be able to remotely fix your hand held tuner. How are you able to get onto the powerstroke.org? If its thru a phone you can make your phone a mobile hot spot and allow your laptop to sign online

I told SCT guy I had tuner hooked up to laptop with internet and he didn't even offer to remote in an check. He said I needed to have the vehicle on hand.

They have never told me that, I've had to have it done twice... Once last evening to be exact...

Just got off the phone with SCT and tuner is being reflashed at this moment, hopefully that will cure the issue.
