Judging by you posting in the 6.4L forum I'm going to assume you've got an 08. I'm honestly not sure how the 6.4 responds to check engine lights....someone will be along shortly. Here's a bump for ya

also, the particulate filter code probably has nothing to do with the new intake. The particulat filter (or DPF) is on the exhaust. May just be a warranty issue.

THANK-YOU FOR THE RESPONSES I SPOKE WITH SOMEONE AT S&B AND HE SAID THAT IF MY BUILD DATE WAS PRIOR TO MAY THIS FILTER WOULD THROW THE CEL ON A REGULAR BASIS HE TOLD ME THAT I COULD HAVE IT REMOVED BUT IT WOULD RETURN.IT APPARENTLY HAS SOMETHIMNG TO DO WITH EARLY BUILD PROGRAMMING AND THIS FILTER WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY ON EARLY BUILD 6.4'S HE WAS VERY GOOD TO DEAL WITH AND IS OFFERING A FULL REFUND BASED ON THE FACT HE IS AWARE OF THIS SITUATION.THEY DO NOT HAVE A FIX FOR THIS ONLY THAT HE SAYS THEY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SEE A COMMON TREND ON VEHICLES BUILT PRIOR TO MAY.

I went through the same thing. It's only Job 1 trucks. I've tried all the CAI's w/ the same luck. At lease S&B are nice to work with. Can't say the same for the others. All you can do is get a DPF delete pipe w/ tuner. I'm saving up.

Job 1 trucks were the first ones built. I don't remember the date they started Job 2 trucks but someone here will tell us. My 08 was built 01/07 so it's a Job 1. They changed a few things in production on the Job 2 trucks (even the air dam under the front bumper is bigger).
