EGTs with Intercooler

Was driving from VA to FL at night around 2am and noted the following EGT numbers, each was sustaind for 5 minutes in 72 degree dry temp on flat and straight roads (I95)

MPH EGTs
70 640
75 700
80 700
85 700-740
90 760-800
95 800

Didn't hit 100 due to enough tickets in the past.

Yesterday morning cruising to the Nats I was looking at my EGT's, with the 275 tune at 75mph I was seeing about 735-745 degrees

So in regards to that and your posting I still cannot justify the intercooler until something can be done about that upper tube thats crimped...I just feel that its like a nickle holding up a dollar

I totally agree when I set the cruise @78 on flat road with above 85 degree temps I see no more than 680 degrees.

I would say that it would be the tire weight adding egts but yall both have larger tires an stock gears so i don't know
