Another DD Question
Finally got the time to install DPF Pipe today and load my programs....got the DasDaq set up too....my question is how do you change gauges, right now mine has egt(that's good)..has boost gauge (have one in my dash)...and tranny temp gauge (have one of them in dash too) I would like to have some gauges I don't have..LIKE OIL PRESSURE

tap on the gauge and change the signal to whatever it is you want to read.

Unfortunately, oil pressure isn't an option since the factory just uses an on/off switch.
If you go to spartan's forum, you can download their "config" file on your SD card and load it onto the DD, just like you did your tune. They have a number of gauges already set up per the way they monitor their trucks. I made some small changes to their set up to meet my needs. But, starting w/their stuff will save a ton of time! Oh, and make sure you're pulling egt temp from EGRTA, it is the sensor that is pre turbo which is the one that tells the true story. You'll get that when you download Spartan's config file. . .if your truck doesn't pick up the "Ford Specific Sensors" let us know, or poke around on Spartan's forum for the directions on how to load up the Ford Specific Sensors. |

Hey guy's I have already loaded Spartan's Config file, and set perimeters I would like to change 2 of the gauges that show on the screen, such as trans temp to water temp, and maybe boost to something else....how can I do that?

touch the gaug on the screen, that will give you a different window. At the top of the window it tells you which sensor you're reading. Click on that and you'll get a list of all sensors. They will reside in 2 lists, generic obd and Ford specific. .. you'll have to scroll to find the sensors you want to monitor. water temp is called ECT for engine coolant temp. That screen will also let you set the mins and max's for that sensor reading, you'll need to change that when you change the input.
