tuners

i have a stock 2010 6.4 and going to buy and tuner and all the other goodies
just want to make it run a bit bettter and stronger. do i have any other options for a dpf delete these days other than buying a 1500 dollar tuner..
looking at the h&s pro but if a cheaper option is available i would like to consider it.

You can buy one of the SCT offroad tuners off ebay. Prices will vary but budget for somewhere around 600-900. Then you can buy custom tunes from gearhead and/or innovative for pretty cheap.

There has been some reviews of the DPF-R recently. It's cheaper. But remember when you do your budget you will also need a delete pipe or full exhaust...

Spring the money for the mini maxx. You'll never know how you drove the truck without the full monitoring that it brings.....

defueling, code clearing, yada yada.

The dpf-r 4.0+ is a good little unit to do what you are wanting. A lot of guys don't even monitor unless they are diagnosing a problem
