Banks tuner

I called Banks today to ask about if they were going to release a tuner for the 6.4l, He said yes but dont know when told me it is a very hard engine to tune freindly for the DPF. Is there any one on here that wants such a mild tuner compared to the Spartan and SCT tunes? Besides me.

Have you called the before mentioned tuners they do custom tunes I am sure they can acomadate you if you call and ask them. It is worth a try.

I'm sorry but this just cracks me..... Banks makes all these claims that he is the best, etc, etc......and yes his products are top of the line, but they have drop the ball on this, thats for sure. I'm not really understanding the point of the DPF friendly, I mean any tuner will void the warranty so whats the point of worrying about the DPF, if your just going to have to pay out of pocket if it gets jacked up?........now if Banks was to come on and say that Ford will back his tuning then thats a totally different story altogther, only time will tell.

Yes there are milder tuners such as Superchips, Bullydog, and Edge.....but you can get mild tunes from Spartan and SCT

Twinturbostroker DPF freindly I think means a tune that does not overload the Dpf and clog it or destroy it. I want to tune my truck but not remove DPF and if there is a tuner that wont clog it or destroy it I'm in. Maybe I'm a sucker for advertisement but the Banks ads make sense to me.

The DPF is gonna get clogged no matter what, thats why regen is on there even if GB figures it out its prob just gonna send your truck into regen even faster than stock.
