6.4 powerstroke

After readng most of the posts on this truck i have concluded i
make a large money mistake in buying my ford should have done more research befor i bought it. unless you spend vast amounts of money
on this truck it is another ford edsel flop.. tried to trade for a dodge
never got a trade in offer over 25k won't be taking any long trips with
my fiver not at 9 miles per gal..had a dodge ram shoul never have traded
it .. always got 14 to 15 towing oh well to late now..

i can tell you for sure that the 08 dodges have the same dpf problems and dont get any better mpg maybe 1 or 2 maybe.so if you get a dodge the same year you will have the same issues except you will be in a dodge istead of a beast like a ford.

all the new trucks are doin worse on mileage because of the DPF...plus your low offer is just because of the truck market right now, its way down your not gonna get much on a trade in, id say if you were up for it do the dpf delete and get a good tune on it, i know guys with the 6.4 have been sayin 5-6 mpg gains with it outta there?

yeah what the heck, alot of people do a tuner and dpf delete and get great miliage

yup spartan are doin crazy things for those trucks. ask around for mileage with a dpf delete and their tuner.

Agree but disagree. Yes the spartan tuner DPF delete will give it better mileage but what if the buyer purchases the truck and keeps it stock so owner is garrantied warranty?
