Exhaust sound after engine's off - DPF/DOC delete

So I've had the 210hp Spartan tune running for a while, using a straight DPF/DOC replacement pipe and the stock muffler. I get the whooshing sound everyone talks about, but sometimes after I shut my truck off I continue to get a sound that almost sounds like the turbos are taking forever to spool down. Is that really what that sound might be? Sometimes it lasts a good 5-10 seconds.

Josh

Actually you are running a full straight pipe system. The factory "muffler" is fake. You can install a real muffler and you will notice the exhaust sounds much deeper and the whistle and air noise from the turbos is greatly reduced.

HEY GUYS. I HAVE AN 02' I CUT THE END OF THE DOWN PIPE OFF UNDER THE CAB AND PUT 4" FROM THERE BACK. IS THERE A WAY TO ELIMINATE THE TAILPIPE NOISE WITHOUT EFFECTING THE FLOW?

Yep that's completely normal. You should hear it spooling down with stacks, loud and can take up to 15 seconds to stop. I get people all the time asking me what that noise is when I stop to get diesel.
